Applying to college is tough, and it's easy to get stuck on the personal statement and supplemental essays. Finding a topic that feels right and then turning it into an essay that's authentic and shows admissions officers why you belong can be a huge challenge.

Writing with us

The common app doesn't open until August 1 - but writing the essay(s) can begin long before then with brainstorming and pre-writing activities. At Streamlined, we offer comprehensive essay coaching, group workshops, and simple review and revise options.  

COMPREHENSIVE ESSAY COACHING

We take your student through the brainstorming process to find a perfect topic, and work with them to draft essays that help admissions officers see why your student fits at a given school. For most students who engage in a comprehensive package, they leave having their common app essay, mutliple supplementals and a few scholarship essays written, revised and polished. One benefit to comprehensive essay coaching is we will also help you create a plan so you can re-use essays as is appropriate. 

REVIEW AND REVISE

The review and revise package is exactly for the student who has their topics chosen, their essays written and needs another sounding board to give feedback and help revise. These sessions are largely spent revising or receiving feedback depending on the length of session. We recommend 45 minutes for the common app, and 30-45 minutes for supplemental essays.
