MINI-PACKAGES

The college application process can be exciting, but it's often clouded by information overload, stress, and anxiety. We get it—it's a lot.

That’s where Streamlined comes in.

We act as a sounding board for your most pressing questions and can transform the process into manageable tasks.

Every educational journey is unique, and every student is unique. For those who are limited by time or budget, mini-packages allow you to choose the services that best suit your needs.

With a mini-package, we don't guide you through the entire process, but instead let you set up a series of meetings in advance, and set up the agenda.

You've got questions - we have answers!

Most students who use a mini-package have most questions answered - but need a few sessions of professional support. Some students use those sessions to talk through college list options. Others use those sessions to brainstorm the essay - it's entirely up to you! Mini-sessions can be very economical way to get professional support throughout the process.

PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT AS YOU NEED IT

There are a lot of moving pieces to putting together a really cohesive and stellar college application package. Often students have some support - but maybe they (and you) need just a little bit more. There are infinite ways in which you can effectively use mini-package. For mini-package pricing, you have to pick at least three sessions, but you can choose up to 7. (Any package can come in any number of sessions - below are just a few examples.) When you sign up, you'll be given a lot of options from which to choose so you can build your ideal scenario.

ESSAYS!

One of the most common ways to use a mini-package is to go through the process of brainstorming and essay planning. For example:

Session 1 - We brainstorm topics for your main essay and any supplementary essays.

Session 2 - We go over any essays that are finished and give feedback.

Session 3 - We finish the main essay and finalize the other supplementary essays.

(Subsequent sessions are used to fine tune essays as needed.) â€‹

HOMESCHOOLING PARENT

If you are a homeschooling family, you may choose to book a few sessions to work on your school counselor paperwork. This could include:

Session 1 - Making sure your transcripts are in order.

Session 2 - Going over the course descriptions.

Session 3 - Working on the school counselor letter.

Session 4 - Working on the school profile letter.

Session 5 - Tying up any loose ends that are individual to the schools you're applying to. â€‹

FINANCIAL AID AND SCHOLARSHIP OPTIONS

We can also help you understand financial aid, and plan for paying for college via scholarships. (Most financial aid comes through schools.)

Session 1 - Creating an overall picture and understanding all the options

Session 2 - Coming up with potential scholarship paths to pursue

Session 3 - 7 Brainstorming and revising essays.

ACADEMIC ADVISING

if you are coming to us earlier in your high school career - or even in middle school - some people choose to book mini-packages both for academic advising and extracurricular planning. This can work in a variety of ways:

Session 1 - Create a list of goals and come away with a roadmap for the next several years academically.

Session 2 - Look at extracurriculars and set some goals regarding participation, leadership and more.

Session 3 - Regularly check-in and reassess as needed.

(Some students use mini-sessions for help with passion projects, writing tutoring or executive functioning coaching, as well.)

Choose a mini-package if you...

  • Need support for only one piece of the entire application process.

  • Prefer to schedule sessions a few at a time.

  • You want a few sessions here and there, rather than to meet weekly or bi-monthly throughout the year.

Mini-packages can be used for literally anything, and the more you book, the cheaper per hour it is.
